search not finding items

I have noticed that the search feature is not exactly the most efficient. For example i have a page with references to exit signs.

I would think that i would be able to search for "exit" and find this page in my results. Currently it shows nothing in my search results. Is there a way to add tags and keywords for searching to boost its performance?
